TEM - Taukay Music Publishing House and Delta Produzioni Associazione Culturale with the City Council of Udine support announces the results of the VII International Contemporary Music Contest "Citta' di Udine".
The Jury is thus composed:

348 scores and recordings are arrived at our office (98 for electroacoustic section and 250 for chamber instrumental group section).
The Jury made a first selection.

Between the Finalists the Jury chose:
• First Prize absolute for the "Instrumental compositions for chamber instrumental group" section (1000 euros, public performance and realization of a CD of the concert)
TZORTZIS Nicolas with the composition Four flash fear
• Special Prize Piero Pezzé for the "Instrumental compositions for chamber instrumental group" section (700 euros, public performance and realization of a CD of the concert)
ROBINSON Paul with the composition A Night in the Palace of Reason
• Special Mention for the "Instrumental compositions for chamber instrumental group" section (400 euros, public performance and realization of a CD of the concert)
TURACCIO Giancarlo with the composition A_notion
• Prize ex aequo for "electro-acoustic, analogical and digital music" section
(500 euros for each of two composers, public performance and realization of a CD of the concert)
OTONDO Felipe with the composition Ciguri
RUDY Paul with the composition In lake'ch
Between the Finalists three compositions from the "instrumental compositions for chamber instrumental group" section have been selected for the performance and will be included in the compact disc compilation.
CHIZARIS Konstantinos with the composition November drops
CHRISTENSEN Christian Winther with the composition From the perfect ground
PANFILI Riccardo with the composition In margine a un testo occulto
The selected compositions will be performed and recorded for the CD compilation in the "Contemporanea 2008" festival, in October 2008, in Udine. The CD will be inserted between the records of TEM - Taukay Music Publishing House
